I love myself today because:

- I am really smart.

- I can hold my own in any room, with pretty much any crowd.

- I am a good person.

- I have really great manners.

- I try to be considerate (most times) of other people's feelings and I'm quick to apologize if I have hurt someone.

- I have great hair. Smile

Got lazy on this - need to get it going again...

I love myself today because:

- I love the things I love - clove soap, pumpkins, warm blankets, hot coffee. I'm working on being in joy MOST of the time and really proud of myself for the work I've been doing - enjoying the results to the fullest.

- I love my relationship with my siblings - spent most of the weekend with my little brother. We share music all of the time - he just introduced me to a "new" band (for me) called 'This Bike is a Pipe Bomb" and they are AWESOME!

- I love my little home and how I decorate it.

- I love my hands. I have great hands.

- I love my toes too.

- I love my teeth. Someday I will love them enough to get them worked on - I need work and I'm SCARED. Working on this.

- I love my eyes. They are HUGE. Someone told me I had the biggest eyes they had ever seen recently and at first, I took it as a negative comment, but it's a great compliment. My eyes are hazel and they change colors with my moods. Sometimes blue, sometimes gray, sometimes green.

Hey Knox,

I love my eyes too. Big dark brown 'Doe' eyes... often get compliments for them, and have been told thru-out life that they are one of my best physical features.

I love my brain - pretty smart chic, inquisitive and love to learn; even do my own taxes, lol.

I love my heart - big enough to love my entire family, friends, and then some

I love my height - not short; not too tall

I love that I see bits of my grandparents in me

I love that I have life-long friends that, even though life gets busy at times, we always make time for each other and care about what's going on in each other's lives

I love my ..brain( is it too conceited to say my intelligence?)

I LOVE MYSELF FOR MY RESILIENCE ANF FOR THE STRENGHT OF MIND I HAD TO BREAK OFF MY AFFAIR WITH N ,SENDING HIM A VERY STRONG,DEALTHY(NOT FURIOUS) LETTER.

That was six months ago,since I'd not heard anything more from him.

I love myself today because:

- I am an excellent business woman with a very successful consulting firm.

- I am resilient.

- I can work with a myriad of people - from various backgrounds, personalities and creeds.

- People respect me and I command respect in return. I am extremely loyal (sometimes to a fault, but I'm working on that) and a great ally.

- I look great in red lipstick. Smile

I love myself today

- Because I realized last night that my co-workers respect me. There are several that actually ask to work with me. I have had two of them tell me that they enjoy working with me because I am a real team player - we help each other - I am fair and fun to be around. When things slow down at night, there are several that actually call to find out where I am to visit - likewise, there are several that I regard in the same way. There are some great nurses where I work that I would am proud to be associated with, work beside and would have no reservations whatsoever to have as my own nurse (should I ever need one); there are also some not-so great ones, that people generally do not like to work with... who 'dump' duties on you, don't help out, generally have a bad attitude, etc... I am so grateful to learn that others regard me in the first group, lol. How absolutely humbling and touching to realize that others actually respect and admire you, your work ethic, your personality and your capabilities. (It doesn't hurt either, that I know how to make one great cup of coffee, LOL).

- I have a great working relationship with all the charge nurses and nurse supervisors.

- I have patients that hug me and tell me they are so glad to have me as their nurse. One even told me that I was 'one in a million'.

- I have a good rapport with most of the M.D.'s - some are pretty nasty and N'sh, and I generally am short and to the point with them, but others actually will ask my opinion about certain things. That makes me feel very valued and appreciated.

I love myself because I am not perfect.

I know that sounds weird, but I had to be perfect for so very long with the N. I was perfect for decades!! Now, it's OK for me to not be perfect and you know what? I'm good enough for me!

Makes perfect sense to me! Our 'imperfections' are what make us each unique Smile

I love myself today b/c:

- I truly have the capacity to empathize, love reach out and touch others

- I make a difference

- I have grown tremendously in the past 6 months

- I know how to implement healthy boundaries, and have validated that through practical experience

- I trust myself now more than ever

- as Lukky always tells me, I am "ok" ... and I actually believe it now, lol.

- When the going gets tough, I am not as weak as I previously thought... I am a strong woman. This girl always finds her way Smile

- I am LIVING life and enjoying it. I am so grateful that I've found the strength to move on from this NPD crap and breathe again.

- I am the luckiest girl in the world. I had a conversation with Dave Grohl last night. I am a manifestation queen! Smile

- I am a joy seeker.

- I am truly a good person.

- I pick great friends.

- I'm cute.

- I am flexible, but I am building good boundaries daily.

I got back on the board
I realize the best thing for me is getting that loser out of my life
I got up and went to work even though I would of rather stayed in bed and mourned

I do wish I knew who Dave Gohn is? I'm always learning something new from this board.

You made me laugh... you can google Foo Fighters, Dave used to be a drummer now he is a singer and plays guitar... remember Nirvana? They started a new genre of music (grunge). He has many, many, many fans. Knoxy did well to talk with him, no kidding!
