I wondered if anyone else has had this problem since the P/N experience....
I shook constantly for a couple of months initially and it would tenfold if he called me or turned up unexpectedly.... (once he said to me "you must be hiding something from me to shake like that".... Jerk!! LOL)
Anyway its all not so bad these days,,, but then something so small can happen and it sets it off again. I just uncontrollably start trembling and it can be so damn embarrassing especially if I am at work!!!!
This morning all it took was a hang up call.... I answered the phone and someone hung up...... that simple!!! I shook for a good 30 minutes........
At work the other day I was in the elavator and some hideous message came over the loud speaker to vacate the elevator immediately it was experiencing technical diffuculites!!!..... WELL OMG !!! my biggest fear other than the ex N that is ,,(LOL) is getting stuck in an elevator...... I couldnt stop shaking for the rest of the day!!!!!
It is so frustrating... I used to be such a together person and never experienced this losing it so easily......
So anyone else out there have this problem or is it just a New Zealand thing??

OMG Lukky! I still shake occasionally.... Usually after a nightmare. They don't come often, but when they do jeez I shake so bad my teeth actually chatter!!!
There was one time I was talking to my first husband's wife's father (does that make sense? his father in law at present, not my dad) but he was telling me that the ex was hitting his daughter and had done so a few times and held a knife on her. He never held a knife on me.... he was asking me what to do because I had started working in shelters and was learning to be a domestic violence advocate... But this was talking about the man that abused ME.. I shook so violently afterwards I scared my parents. I couldn't stop. I just couldn't it was the most toughest and scariest conversation that I think I've ever had. I tried to help her through him, I sent info to him by mail with my name off of it and everything. It didn't do any good, ten years later she's got four kids by him and they are still married. But that poor dad. I felt so much for him. But gads I didn't think I would ever stop shaking. It was awful. _________________

Gotta be a new zeland thing Refresh me lukky...how long have you been apart from him? It happened to me in my early days but went away with recovery....I was only alone for a couple months in my place when we had our 1st fire alarm go off.....I got out right away but then found out the smoke was on MY floor....Well I had the xp totally condemed for it in my mind....turned out to be a problem with the elevator....seems that in the early days we have a tendency to still fear the p....it does dissappear with recovery my good friend

I found myself shaking in court the other day.
