My ex seems incapable of letting go of me. He doesn't leave me alone and I've told him to stop texting me and ringing me, but he doesn't. He just sent me a text tonight wishing me a happy new year.

What to do???

Hi GWO, change your number, break all the ways he can contact you email , phone, or any other means.
It is so hard because the temptation to look is strong, but if you can't see him contacting you it helps, honest.
He will soon get fed up, if he receives no replies, or acknowledgements.
I know its upsetting hun.
No Contact is the way to go

I got rid of my psychopath by refusing contact! Do not reply to any texts (block them if you can), delete emails w/o reading them (block those too), and don't reply to any voicemails, no matter how inflammatory they might be. I changed my number, job, and place of residence too.
I didn't respond when he left a message saying my stuff was on the curb (and I didn't go pick it up) and when the first restraining order expired and he was still driving past my house, I got a second one.
And he was seeing other women the entire time so don't think for one second it's love.

It took about a year and a half but he finally went away--don't give in to yours and he should go away pretty soon too . . .

Have a safe and happy New Year!

Thank you both, girls. Smile

Guess all I have to do is be patient.

I can do that.
