Dear Milo,
I have been in Texas for a month with the grandsons and their mother. Her mother died on April 10th. Ex-daughter is only 26, her mother was 58. She past away very suddenly. I think I am doing OK. Re-scheduled a couple of doctor's appointments as I had not expected to stay that long but felt she needed the support. I probably will be going back sometime the beginning of June. My oldest grandson spent last night asking and looking for me. Of course, when I found that out I started to cry again. I miss my grandson so much. Spent a lot of time holding, hugging and loving them. All of them may come to visit in a few weeks. It was nice to re-connect with the daughter in law and mend some fences between the two of us.
Thanks for asking about me. How are you doing? I hope all is well with you.

Good to hear from you Mikey and lovely to hear you got to catch up with your grandsons.
Hope all going well with your eyesight now too. As you didn't mention it, I'm assuming things ok?
Very quiet here but don't mind. Quiet = no drama, lol.
Have been a bit teary today though. First Mother's Day since my mum passed away last November. (Still miss her so much.)
Thanks for posting hun and hope things continue to be on the up and up for you.
Best Wishes, Milo

Dear Milo,
The tears I can relate - a year ago (2007) I spent Mother's Day in Texas with my two sons, 3 grandsons and both daughter in laws and my mother was still alive. It is sad how much can happen in a year. My oldest got all the tears. It really started flowing when he brought me a dozen roses and continued for the day. This year it was just him. My youngest is in Iraq, one daughter in law in Chicago (will not talk to me or send me pics of grandson) and oldest has split with his wife and like you I lost my Mom last year so my oldest got all the tears.
Hope you are feeling better today. I stayed busy chasing the dust out of my house. LOL Talk to you later, OK. Again, thanks for asking about me. It is nice to be missed.
