I need this now. Badly.

Why I love myself today.

- Because most people genuinely like me.

- Because I'm very giving and generous.

- Because I hear my friends - I "see" them - I listen to their issues and desires and try to coach them through their lives.

- Because I am fairly level headed.

- Because I make a mean pot of french pressed coffee.

- Because although I post about how much I rule, I'm a humble gal.

- Because I am a great catch. Seriously. Smile

- Because I am a good person. A really good person.

- Because I won't give up on myself and my healing.

- I am a strong and independent woman.

- I have excellent boundaries.

- I have really good integrity.

- I give freely.

- I am adorable, damn it.

- I have great friends.

- I give good advice.

I love myself today because:

- I have been in control of my actions after being triggered by my friend who I started seeing romantically again. I am keeping my "stuff" in check and staying appropriate.

- I have awesome style - I can't wait to wear my new dress for my birthday in Las Vegas next week!!!

- I am slowly paying off the debt I incurred over the last year.

- I am a good listener and a really good friend.

- I have incredible people around me, so I must be okay too. Smile

- I consistently work on myself to be the best person I can be.

why i love myself today:

because I am a strong, vivacious WARRIOR!

because i can now spot 'crazies' very easily!!

because I learned how to say NO and have STOPPED enabling other people's 'dysfunction'.

I love myself today because:

- I am sexy.

- I have great taste.

- I can be really loving.

- I am a strong person.

- I have good boundaries and I take good care of myself.

- I have friends and family who love me, so I must be okay after all...

I love myself today because:

- I dare to push my limits
- I can be intuitive
- I keep my commitments
- I sing in the car!
- I finish what I start
- I LOVE my friends and family

Oh.....and I love Knoxy today because she chooses to acknowledge her positive spirit even though she is having a "poopy day"!

Just to let you know -- I love this thread so much I created a game in the car with my little girl. On the way to school or daycare, we take turns telling each other one way that we love the other person, then we take turns telling each other one reason why we love ourselves.

I love myself today because I try my best to be a good mom.

I love myself today because I am honest and sincere.

I love myself today because I have been being good to myself by regularly going to the gym and working out...and even though I overslept this morning...I will go to the gym after work!!!

I also love myself today because of how BRAVE I am. In fact, everyone on this forum is incredibly brave...we have all faced evil and are walking away and moving on. Think how incredible that is.

- I am a good friend.

- I am a good listener (although I do give unsolicitied advice a lot - working on that.

- I have pretty eyes.

- I am a hard worker and always willing to go the extra mile.

- I am graceful.

I love myself today because:

- I have realized that I'm on a journey with many turns and twists - and some of them will include roadblocks. But I have the internal constituation and fortitude to work my way through them.

- I surround myself with great people.

- I spend money on things that support my recovery.

- I love the things I love and I am passionate about.

- I spend time on things that are good for me.

- I fall off my path often - but pick myself up and dust myself off... and get right back on.

I love myself today becuase:

- I can be silly and crack people up
- My kids are on vacation together (just the two of them) and having a terrific time!
- I went out on a date last night with an actual "grown up" man and enjoyed myself
- I am looking forward to going home tonight and being alone!

I am very good at my job...sometimes better than I realize.

I have been strong enough to move on from the exN and start to trust again.

Because I am generally happy before I go to sleep.

Because I can sleep again.
