Hi Dr. V.
I've been reading up on you. You tell it like it is. Thank you from my heart.

I have a court date to discharge our parent coordinator after years of EXPENSIVE and painfully unproductive sessions. I can prove the PC did not follow the judge's order, but the REAL reason the PC did not work is the father is N and the PC is biased against me, believing the father's PAS claims. The father has even claimed to PC that I am derisive and abusive to him (I know, classic). I want to discharge PC and take it one step further--tell the full truth and have a review of the psych exam results, but don’t have the $ to do this. Or better yet--What can I say to PC to promote teamwork and get him to withdraw prior to court?

I am concerned my lack of assertiveness coupled with desperation will come off as manipulative. What would an assertive person say in this circumstance?

The children are seeing a great therapist. He helps the children cope and said there is no changing the father. This is not a healthy co-parenting situation, it is stressful and draining, and we are paying the price in anxiety/stress/insecurity/anger/fear.

When I ask the court to discharge PC I do not want to compromise the children’s relationship with their therapist by using this to "replace" PC. It seems to me that the judge will not want to end faulty PC without assigning a new PC. I am told by a local court-appointed expert that no local PC could handle a N without bias. But I can't say that in court--can I?
