Hi, and your still with him?????
There are so many red flags there you could have a parade.
The controls there, the arrogance, the fact he needs praise and if you criticize him he dislikes it , he wont listen to your problems and dismisses them as insignificant, he mirrors you. He has a drink then brags about he cant remember.
He puts you down, and borrows money.
Please read all you can on here about N's and P's,
I am glad you found us and glad you got some of your story out, I know it isn't easy doing that, and I am glad you did.
Are you still seeing him?

This is my second narcissist. I dated another one for about a year and a half in 2004/05 and moved on from him about two years ago. Then I met this guy over the internet Razz

We've only ever communicated online, but I did get the opportunity to meet him once, last summer. He lives in another country. My dad is a narcissist too, so I guess that's where it all comes from. I recently started therapy, but even therapists don't always understand.....I'm grateful for this board.

Shoogie, glad to have you here, and sorry to hear your on your second, but they go for the nice people, I also think sometimes we gravitate towards them like magnets or moths to a flame.
