Hello Mr. Vaknin!

As for me I know a young woman and i Think she has a NPD.

After I understand that I understand that my father has the same Illness. She is not really dangerous perhaps that change later. He is a bit more difficult. I was 2 Times in a Psychiatry and my brother 1 time because of he is dangerous. I have read your written thinks about NPD and the most you write I can agree cause I have see it.

Some weeks I though I have NPD too perhaps but I know a woman who is Psychologist and she don't think so. It is something other...

Well its was important for me to understand what NPD is and I know the reason why my father has this Illness. We should not forget that this people victims when they are very young. As for my father for example was the reason that his father was killed in the war when he was 1 year and after that some unpleased thinks happened with him. But at the other side when a NPD people is dangerous he must be separate from his Victims I think.

I would like to ask you what connection have NPD people to time?
Is it true that they live most in the Present?

And is it true that the past have for them not much Importance?

For Example when I give the woman a Present she was thankful about ( but not very much...)
and after that I feel the Present was for her a part of the past and it was not longer Important for her.

By the way I told her that she hat perhaps this Illness and should go to a Psychologist. I was angry cause perhaps I was Confused her with my father. I hear never again from her.

But I have written her and explain her all. I write her also that it is now her own fight...

After that I see Coincidence that she is
reading a book „Matilda“ from Ronald Dahl.

It was a bit as she would herself identify with the „Matilda“ from the book.

I was by the book and read it. The Book is about a little child Matilda (3,5 Years) at the beginning of the book. It is a very Intelligent child a bit like a „wunderkind“ we say in German. But she live in a cold family and nobody is interesting about her feelings and Wishes and so one. It was a bit sadly to read that.

Like the child in the book she is very Intelligent and Last year she leave a Elite university.

Perhaps it was a bit her own story in the book...

Well have a nice day and thanks for answer. And excuse my English.
