It was hard to think of loving myself although I could come up with positive things I like about myself. Now I got it , what it is that makes me feel such love and respect for myself.

I am my truest best friend who always tries to do what is best for my mental and physical health. I protect myself from being bullied and controlled. When I feel down I search for ways to lift my spirits and change my attitude. I am my own cheer leader and strongest support for my right to expect respect from others. I believe in myself and accept myself with unconditional friendship and love knowing I am imperfect in many ways. I have forgiven myself of my past mistakes. If I see myself headed in the wrong direction I look for ways to intervene, educate and get help and guidance. I am comfortable in my own company and am seldom bored. I trust myself with my life and I am responsible for my own life. I am my own truest friend. I listen to my own advice. And best of all loving myself for being a human person with flaws frees me to be a loving, caring and loyal friend to others.

I love myself today because:

- Dave Grohl now knows me. He said hello from the stage last night. Everyone looked at me like, "who the hell is she?" Awesome.

- I have a great business 7 years in the running.

- I have great style.

- I am a good person.

- People want to work with me because I'm honest and a hard worker.

- I am nice to pretty much everyone, but also have learned strong boundaries.

- I give good advice.

Yes, there is a Mrs. Grohl, but we don't talk about her. Given my ability to live in denial (a.k.a. living with an exN for 8 years, apparently), I choose to flex that muscle in relation to Mr. Grohl's marriage. Smile

I love myself today because:

- I love my life.

- I am easy to talk to - I make friends easily.

- I have GREAT taste in music!

- I partied last night with the young whipper snappers at the Foo show - and held my own.

- I take excellent care of myself.

- I am very blessed.

I saw the X driving down the street and didn't have a desire to try and call him.

I am a good friend.
I am a kind person.
I am a fighter. I will not sacrifice my own ethics and self esteem.

I love myself today because:

- I love my new haircut and dye job. I looked adorable today.

- I love rocking out to the Foos in my car. I don't care how silly I look. I love that about me.

- I love that I am actively working on myself and continue to build a fantastic life for myself.

- I love the people that I have in my life.

- I love that people value my opinion.

- I love that I have a dog that is snoring at my feet right now. Smile

I love myself today because:
Jesus is Lord, and He sits at the right hand of God
because my cup is half full, because today is a new day, and noone can control me, unless I allow them. It's time we take back our Love, and our Freedom. It's time for the abuse to stop. If our N's don't want to straighten up and fly right. it's time for them to go. I really don't know if they can control any part of their actions, or not, but right now I don't care. it's time the aduse, and the oppression to stop, and the healing to begin. I remember why I love myself, I'm a fighter, a survivor.

I love myself today because:

- I looked awesome at a wine dinner Friday night. Cool dress, cool coat, cool jools, great shoes and coat - so fun.

- I have balls. Not literally, but metaphorically.

- I have a kind heart.

- I am a great coach for people.

- I have gained the respect of people who I respect greatly and that makes me really proud.

- I have good integrity.

Why I love myself today:

- I am a good doggie parent. I take great care of my mutt. She's having some behavior issues right now and I'm handling them really well. Smile

- I am a great entrepreneur with all sorts of interesting ideas to follow up on (I just need more energy to follow them up!).

- I am funny and quirky.

- People trust me.

- I try hard to do the right thing.

- I love myself because I'm imperfect.

BECAUSE I GOT MY DREAM JOB! sorry for the all caps but just found out and so excited!

Also because am abuse free today, away from my STBXNH, my N mom and my toxic family!

Life is so wonderful when it is abuse free!
