I touch the empty air
the vacant dreams
the ones lost
the ones yet to come
holding my broken heart
the tears trying to mend
my heart, my mind
I do not know where I am
where I go…

I know you were here, once
remembering the touches, the words
of the lost dream, lost hope
wondering if I will ever live again
wondering when the pain goes away
vanishes
like you
gone
away

The lies that were planted
the hurt that was dealt
the trauma I experienced
where did you go
when did you fade into another
why was it wrong
why did it break and fall apart
all the unanswered truths and lies
you watching, your blues eyes so cold
you not caring, your heart so black
I remember and do not understand
why must I be alone
feel the pain
the confusion that was dealt
and I am tired
of today, of tomorrow and forever
and once again I cry
once again I hurt
I am eternally alone.
