Oak, sorry for replying late, everytime I sat with a thought, got pulled away from the ever demanding now 16 month old, plus I'm teaching a college class one night a week, it's over for now, which is good. Well, you made some excellent points here, as always, not sure MIL's motive or lack thereof, mostly she can be clueless and after our major discussion when I finally set the boundaries, I've decided not to burst her N-protected ego bubble, she can't take it, so I let her be and limit my contact, which is easy, she doesn't call much. The N-SIL, well, they have decided to visit my MIL at Christmas, oh, good for them, they suck and don't deserve to be in my family's life, their message sent loud and clear, I am DONE. I chose NC for me, easy for me, it's his family, let him handle it.
Thank you again, the best part, I have each of you to thank b/c after 10 years of the cat and mouse, it's finally over and couldn't have made the progress without your thoughts/validation, etc... THANK YOU. I hope your family is better, sounds like you are on the right track, too. WLW
