If I stay away from P sister. I miss out on my neice and nephew's development. I already miss them so much It didn't help my cat I tamed from the wild died after loving me so much for 10 years. Dang the timing of this literally HAD to be Planned! (My father suggested this one.)
Are kids generally safe? Is there a test social services can order she take? Anyone know? I couldn't find any example on Google.
Thanks in Advance. -J.

Dear Joel,

As far as a "test"--not unless they are willing to take it, AND the person doing the testing is very familiar and sharp with this problem. Unfortunately they are great "actors" and can masquerade as just about anything---some aren't good but most are GREAT actors.

I know you must hate to miss out on your niece and nephew's development and getting to be with them, and that is the very very unfortunate thing about this disorder (or series of disorders) is the huge negative impact it has on those connected to them in any way.

Disordered persons ruin companies, families, individuals, groups of all kinds, and the DESTROY LIVES and leave pain and chaos in their wake.

I wish I could tell you that there was a "magic bullet" to put a stop to this "insanity" but there isn't. Actually it is not a mental "illness" because they know right from wrong, they just DON'T CARE, they are 100% selfish. Their "motives" are not anything easily understandable by anyone with a heart, caring or a soul, and many times we try to "normalize" them by thinking that they think like we do----they don't. They can't. They can't have empathy for anyone.

The word "love" iin a normal person will have some emotional meaning. The Ns and Ps FAKE the behavior to go with the word or the emotion, but they can't FEEL it. So it is very difficult for us to communicate with them, as well as the fact that they seem to lie when the truth would fit better.

Read all of the marvelous links here on this site, Dr. Sam has many on there to help us somehow get our heads around what they think, do and feel vs what we think, do and feel. LEARNING so you can protect yourself from them is the best defense. Good luck and God speed.
