|
|
| He was up at the courthouse acting like the all loving father and husband, so concerned about my baby and me. The prosecutor told me that when he goes to trial, he thinks he will take that as his "defense", his undying love for us and that I am making this up, yet he still loves me. DISGUSTING! He's in for a BIG surprise when we play the tapes of him ADMITTING to everything in his own voice. WHY? HOW? Why does it take so long to get through the courts?

Wow can I relate!!! My XNP showed up in court with his hair combed over to the side, looking all goofy. And he was incredibly soft spoken, which is not even close to his normal voice.
Get to see him in court again next month, I'm sure he'll be that fake, soft spoken guy again.

| It's rather disgusting when you know their true colors, isn't it?! Good Luck in court next month. I have no idea when I go back, I guess I'll face him for his criminal charges first, then if I understand correctly, he will not be allowed to attend the divorce hearing from jail. It's amazing that if they can be as perfect as they portray themselves to be, why they can't REALLY be that way!

It's so true, they have so many fooled!! So many still believe my XNP is a good guy. Hopefully the judge will see through it. Thanks for your wish of good luck for next month!!
Good luck to you too!!

He may have knocked me down, but I got right back up... And kicked his a**!!
(metaphorically speaking ofcourse, but if he hadn't gotten the PPO, I probably would have done it literally too!!)

| Thanks, Still! As much havoc as the wreck, it amazes me that there is a single person left that they can fool! People who have heard about all they've done, they still convince them to feel sorry for them?!

My husband keeps threatening to challenge me for custody... My only hope is that he'll stay so drunk he'll never get around to it. It makes me nervous though because he could convince a court, I truly believe that. I have no physical evidence of his past behavior and he comes across as a totally together, genuine guy when he wants to be. What a nightmare.

Thanks, Echo! As nervewracking as it is, there is no choice! This too, shall pass...
Artichoke....It's amazing how they appear to pull it together to fool others. This P is incarcerated, facing 3 life sentences, so I don't have custody issues, just the threats, etc. However, I am SOOOO thankful that we have him RECORDED admitting to everything. When I tell people, who don't understand Ps that I am still worried, they don't understand how I could be with him admitting, but you know how it goes with a P! Ugh!

These posts make a good case for going to a sperm donor clinic next time...would seriously be my choice if I were to have another child. No court hassles or sickos to deal with. _________________ Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined.

I would think it is less costly financially as well as emotionally too
