I've never been the west coast of Canada, but when I was a teenager I roadtripped to Montreal, Quebec City, and through New Brunswick to Halifax. I loved it. If you're ever in New Brunswick you can stop to see the World's Largest Axe. As my friend pointed out, it wasn't really the world's largest axe, as it was several stories high. "It's the world's largest representation of an axe," she said. "Would you call the Statue of Liberty the World's Largest Lady?"

We're still friends, if you can believe it. Her parents were rough on her too.

If he does tell him to go easy on the water, we runnin' low. I do my bit by drinking beer only.

Justmee: it is beautiful. A couple of days ago I was hungover, I felt lousy and needed some fresh air so I decided I'd start walking. I headed towards the forest on the edge of town and found a reserve and ended up trekking for about 4-5 hours along a plateau. It was beautiful. The forest is so vibrant compared to the city. I'm sorry to hear about those chickens, no kid should witness such horrific acts of violence. You should ramble more often Justmee I enjoy hearing your stories. Ramble on.

And they would sing the Vegemite theme song at the drop of a hat. What's up with that, Thay?

Ah, the yeast extract delight Vegemite! Shame we sold it. As for abbreviating nouns, us Aussies don't like to talk much and abbreviation makes conversation shorter. Howyadoinmate? Ya comin' or goin'? Unfortunately the Aussie larrikin is a dying breed in the city although the larrikin culture still surfaces for time to time. For example, you can be pissing in the middle of the road at 3AM with your shirt off, yelling abuse at the cops and no one will blink an eyelid. It is a great country.

Justmee, I am cracking-up over your story, what was your dad thinking? Hiding the money, moving to the country... I know it must have been hard for you, though, living it, bet you wanted to go back. I'm here at south padre with my daughter and sister, enjoying the beach, sand, relax, just for the weekend, it's been 2 years since I've gone anywhere and enjoying it...I was born in Columbus and lived in a suburb of Upper Arlington. I'm familar with Sandusky, all of my extended family is scattered about Ohio and some in Indiana. We're the only southerners. Hope your day is good, ya'll! Laughing
