It's not a broken rib!

I have pneumonia and pleurisy that is causing the extreme pain!

I talked to the doc on the phone and I asked him could these things cause the pain that I have been having. He said he has had patients that have had to go into the hospital because they couldn't handle it. He said I was tough stuff because there was a lot of fluid buildup in and around my lungsl. He told me that he would check me into the hospital if I wanted to go. LOL it's something when you hear someone else say something like that. It's like HUNH? ME? Are you sure that you are talking about me and not mixing me up with someone else? LOL

On another note, my mother called me tonight to check on me. Shocked Again, I thought are you mixing me up with someone else? LOLOLOLOL I would say she's waiting on the will, but hey, I ain't got nothing but two crazy kids and a cat LOL and I know she don't want my cat!!!

I"m just relieved that it's what it is and I'm now on heavy duty antibiotics!

Thanks all that have love and cared about me. Maybe now we are on a better road!!!

Still can't believe the mother called LMAO Laughing

Oh! I've heard pleurisy is quite painful. One of my sisters had it and so did a co-worker. Come on antibiotics!

Ohhh Tammy Girl I am so pleased you finally have an answer... that must be a big relief for ya??? Pretty painful stuff though,,, most people need Hospital for this so your doing incredibly well to be at home..... Give the antibiotics time to kick in and you'll feel better in no time.....

Had to laugh at your comment about your Mom calling..... Hey maybe she will make you some soup today... do you want me to send her the Kiwi recipe???

Lots of Hugs from way over here and hang in there Girlfriend... you'll be up to mischief before ya know it...

I guess I am made of tough stuff hunh!
The Mother has a hernia that by the way she still hasn't fixed yet and she blew the hell out of checking up on me.
She made some off hand remarks when the Doctor called me more pain pills in. She said did I want her to hold on to them for me so I won't overtake them. Evil or Very Mad I've not ever overtaken but because I do use them she makes it to be a weakness. I resent the hell out of her for that.

So no I don't think you need send the recipe. She'd probably put arsenic in it anyways LOLOLOL Laughing

but I am shocked as heck that pneumonia and pleurisy could be this painful. It's hurt worse than when I broke my foot!!!! Surprised

Pleurisy is one of the most painful things you can have from what Ive heard.... I mean it hurts like hell every single time you breath!! Try some steam Tammy...Do you have access to one of those steam making things that puts more moisture in the air... this can help with this... Pleurisy is very similar to what premature babies have when there poor little lungs arnt developed enough to breath properly... its awful and I sure know it hurts...... Make do with a pot of water boiling on the stove if you havn't... just anything to put more moisture in the air......

Ohhh and I will make the soup k.... I'll send it on a plane to ya Hon..

xoxoxo

AWWWW Tammy! Pneumonia!!! I would't have guessed that. Well I'm glad you've finally gotten a diagnosis and the meds to take care of it.

I make a mean chicken soup. Wish I could send you some. Take good care of yourself, you tough woman!!!!!

I'm terrible about following up on my own threads. LOL It's my ADD. I move on before I complete one thing to another!

Thank you all.

Zootie girl, I would love your soup I am sure! I had campbell's chunky turkey pot pie tonight and that was so good. I LOVE soup. Always have. Tomato, chicken noodle, chicken soup, turkey stew and believe it or not the mother makes a mean veggie soup. I really like it and eat a couple of bowls when she makes it. Not at one sitting of course LOL

I'm feeling a little better today. It was still a tough day as I went with the mother to see my grandmother and then the mother proceeded to drag me all over hell and creation. Two thrift shops and the grocery store and she made ME push the buggy. My biggest problem is my health and this is the one issue that she does not let go of. Told me yesterday that yeseterday was my day is what she called it. She said affer that I need to get up and move because now I was going to have pneumonia very easily over and over if I didn't get up and move.

She would give anything or do anything to unvalidate my being sick. And this is the thing that bothers me the most. Geez there I go bitchin about her again. UCK!!!!

On a lighter note I jammed my music like hell today and it totally got on her nerves LMAO
