It just started here in UK and I keep promising myself to watch it, I take it that its well worth a look. I'm going to set my recorder for the next episode then. Trouble is if its that good I will easily get hooked! On the promos it looks like they are a bunch of real bitches!!! Cat fights over a dinner table I saw on one trailer!

I just saw this post.

I am a proud addict of all reality television via VH1 and Bravo.

The ickier, the better.

My dear friend actually had a pilot for Bravo, but they didn't pick it up. They are filming at my local tennis club now - not sure if Bravo will pick that one up.

Real Housewives of OC is awesome because it's true - these women are as sick as they seem. And many of them live fairly close to my friends in Ladera Ranch. Disgusting and AWESOME!

I love Atlanta, but honestly, New Jersey is my all time fave. ;)

The two strongest personalities: 1) I love Nene - she is a 'give it to you straight', 'say the same thing to your face as behind your back' type person. 2) I really do not care for Kim at all - she is a 'lie to get whatever from whomever at that moment in time'. The rest are a bunch of liars, shit stirrers, and flaky 'today, suddenly I am going to be an overnight famous fashion designer' type "career" decisions (excluding Kandi, the new housewife)... but not as extreme as Kim - and I cannot stand how Kim dresses. Like an attention seeking wh*re. She's 'designing' wigs now... but I imagine soon she'll have her own fashion design 'career', complete with another 'viewing'.

I am impressed that Kandi really seems to keep info to herself very well. They've been testing her - Sheree and Kim both have tried to get her into the gossip mode by bringing up and talking about others, trying to fish info out of her, but Kandi really hasn't taken the bait so far. I say "good on you Kandi!" She's got good ethics, and really the only one of the whole bunch with an actual career.

Still love Dwight too. He should be an official housewife too... not just Nene's friend.

I didn't watch Jersey - caught one, maybe two episodes... Same thing with New York (on purpose, some of those women just really got on my nerves, LOL). I've seen several OC, but never really could get into them like Atlanta. I guess b/c they aren't 'real' to me... I don't know anyone with same/similar mannerisms, etc...

Bravo REALLY needs a "The Real Housewives of Da Bayou" ;-) Water/Sports lovin, good cookin, hurricane tough southern women with cajun accents. It would be a hit!

The next show focuses on DC. I CANNOT WAIT for that one.

Yes, I've seen many of the OC people in person. They are all vile.

Did you know many of them are losing their homes on the Atlanta show? The Huffington Post is always writing about it. Lisa lost her home, I think Nene did too. All that "money" isn't real money... or they have adjustables and want to walk away like so many people are. Icky.

Icky is right. Had no idea. So all the 'lies' Kim's been telling about Nene's husband being 'broke' may not be lies!

On a side - can you believe what Kandi was able to do with that "tardy for the party" song??? Actually sounds pretty cool.

Also liked the Alter-ego photos.

DC is a show I will DEFINITELY check out!

I loved the alter ego photos almost as much as I loved Kim falling down the stairs!

If Nene is so rich, why doesn't she have any teeth? :-D

hahahahaaa

Man did Kim milk that for all it's worth. No doubt it was painful... the injury did look painful, but she wasn't moaning and groaning til there was an audience. Notice, when someone requested to hear her song, it was almost like she forgot she was even hurt?? Smiling, jigging, etc...

they are all pots calling each other black, LOL!!

YOu know, at times I can't even believe that I love this show.... its so catty/backstabbing/childish and trashy it reminds me (somewhat and on a much smaller scale) of Jerry Springer - which I abhor. But yet, I am drawn to this show. I seek it out. if I miss it on TV, I go to the website and watch it online. It's like watching a train wreck - you don't want to really watch, but you can't seem to take your eyes away, LOL.

I just noticed this. I love all the Real Housewives shows. Watched Part I of the Atlanta reunion last night and can't wait for the OC wives to start next week. Looks like more fun filled drama.

I see the OC wives quite often. I saw Slade at the airport a while back.

They are equally as disgusting in person as they are on the show.

And I can say, 100% sincerely, the show is very similar to what it's like to live in the OC.

That doesn't surprise me at all. What is even more scary is that we only see a portion of it. They definitely help keep me grounded!

Hi there - yes, we disable PMs for our users safety.

Dave says this constantly. After ESPG, they were going on "break." The longest break I've ever had away from Dave was from March through two weeks ago. I just went to the VH1 Storytellers taping, which will air Thanksgiving evening at 11pm. Just know this - when he jumps up for the third time during "My Hero" for the audience to sing along, I will be there, on camera, staring at his ass with NO SHAME. ;)

I love the Foos. They saved my life. I have met all of them many times and frankly, they are the sweetest gentlemen. Love love love!!!

P.S., have you checked out Dave's latest venture, Them Crooked Vultures? I see them on 11/17. John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, Josh Hommes from Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl on drums. It's HEAVEN. Youtube it...

Hey, Knoxy. OMG, you got to see the Foos live on VHI Storytellers? Isn't that all acoustic...ahhh...heaven. I love getting to hear the stories behind the songs too. You are SO lucky that you got to go. I will def. DVR it. My 2 yo loves the Foos too, and especially loves acoustic music. Grohl is part owner of a club where I grew up and I've met him once (the only time I got the balls to go up to him) while seeing another show there. I think he lives in the area too. I'm sure he has more than one house, but I think he grew up around here too.

Hubby told me about the new band but I haven't checked them out yet. I can't even fathom Grohl with JPJ. I'm sure it 's a musical O.

I'll let you know - I'm going to see the Vultures this Tuesday! :)

Grohl grew up in Virginia - but he's sold his old house there now. He lives in Encino Hills in California now. And honestly, the fact that I know that is creepy. Ha ha ha.

Very cool, meeting Grohl. I love Grohl stories. He's quite a character. The last time I met him, he was in swimming trunks soaking wet. I call that pic our Honeymoon shot because it looks like we're on an island somewhere. Ha.

I can't wait until Tuesday. I'll let you know how it goes!

BTW - VH1 wasn't acoustic. Unfortunately. There were acoustic tunes though. They played a fairly long set - but it will be completely cut, I'm sure. :)

A bit off topic - from the earlier posts.

Them Crooked Vultures were FLIPPING AMAZING. Best show I've probably ever seen, top three. That good.

Here's a link to the VH1 Foos taping I went to. It airs Thanksgiving...

Not loving the song... but I love me some Dave. :)

watched a few OC episodes last weekend. What is up with Tamra??? Self - righteous is an understatement.

they have to be encouraged to do some of this stuff for the show, right? Otherwise, if her WHOLE problem is she doesn't want to be associated with someone of Gretchen's 'low moral' standing - then DON'T ASSOCIATE! lol

She's full of crap.

The psuedo morality is a HUGE trigger for me. There is a ton of that in the OC - but I suppose it's everywhere. People living such a superficial life, then claiming to be holy rollers. Hilarity.

That Tamra gal has never ever ever been kind to Gretchen. Jealous from the start.

I'd give my left pinkie to look like Gretchen. Man, what a beautiful woman.

My friend Dennis filmed a show for Bravo. It's a show around his employer - a famous floral designer in Beverly Hills. They filmed a sizzle reel and a pilot. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore produced it - the real thing. If you do a search on Bravo and "Eric B" you will read about it. Anyhow, Bravo didn't end up picking it up after all. He said the whole thing is hilariously staged. They hired people just for the show - and most of it was camped up. But he had a great time doing it.

They are doing another show at my boyfriend's tennis club in the OC. It's around the tennis community and I'll tell you one thing, they won't need any actors. These bastards are NUTS! :p
