Such simple ideas,
Such "Obvious" truths,
Such ideology in motion,
Such pretty pretty Lies in Lieu of You...

Were it only so Easy,
Were it ever once true,
Were I so easily fooled,
Were I not me, but You...

We are not broken,
We are not tainted,
We are not spoiled-goods,
We are not ready to give-in...

Punished for our faith,
Punished for giving second chances,
Punished for wanting Peace,
Punished for being simply, Free...

Can you find all the pieces?
Can you put them where they go?
Can you keep my dark secrets?
Can you forgive me for learning Slow?

Who were my friends, then?
Who could I turn to?
Who would believe me?
Who already Knew?

I know this is not the end of it,
I know the prize was not had,
I know I denied satisfaction,
I know I should be Glad...

You Played on my Kindness,
You Manipulated my Doubt,
You Counted on Forgiveness,
You Denied me Catharsis,
You Believed only in your "Clout"...

Were it only so Easy,
Were I the exception,
Were I not the rule,
Were I Whole when I met you,
