Trapped In the Mirror: Adult Children of Narcissists In Their Struggle for Self, by Elan Golomb (Harper, 1992)

This book had a powerful effect on me - it triggered many memories and often made me cry, but in the end it is helping me understand what has happened and is still happening in my life.

I know this is an N post, but I am still surprised the book "the sociopath next door" by Martha Stout has not been mentioned. I believe N's, P's, etc., share similiar traits. This book is about sociopaths - but do not let that fool you. S's and N's are difficult to tell apart. The "Pros" are still undecided. An N may have P characteristics. A P may have N characteristics. Guess I am tired, but this is a must read for any victim of, or potential victim of, a S or P. I am still unsure why an N is not considered under the umbrella of a P.

Love and hugs.

Unless someone deleted it, The Sociopath Next Door and other books that have recently been repeated, were posted. Hmmm....
