Now I realize….

You were my world;
Now I realize that my world forgot to have me in it;

You were my hope for happiness and security;
Now I realize that happiness and security comes from within;

You were light into the darkness of my heart;
Now I realize you frequently brought my heart darkness;

You were my best friend;
Now I realize that best friends are forever;

You were my family;
Now I realize that you were an outsider all along;

You were my dream come true;
Now I realize that my dreams go far beyond you;

You were my hero;
Now I realize that hero’s don’t quit when times get tough;

You were my new beginning;
Now I realize that a wonderful new life is ahead without you.

Found this poem on a healing site and really wanted to share it with you all. Pretty much covers it I'd say. Great to be up and running again , I missed you all. Always, Theresa
