It's late and I'm tired. I just want to tell you that we could all be related. Everything written here sounds like it could have been written for me.
BTW, I moved to a new house when I finally went NC with my NM. We bought all new furniture too. I couldn't stand to look at anything that reminded me of my past. I can sooo relate to that feeling. It has helped me more that words can describe. It really does make life better. I have never owned a framed picture of my parents. If I have to look at a picture of them, it is for scientific, legal or accidental purposes. I'd sooner frame a picture of my kidney stone.
