No Longer Your Victim
Today I have made a conscious decision
You will no longer have power over me
I will not allow thoughts of you to consume my life
I will not shed another tear because of you
You have shown me
What a monster you are
A professional predator
There’s nothing human about you
You are like a machine
That destroys all it touches
Leaving nothing but remnants
Of what once existed.
You seek to devour those around you
You are like a vampire
Sucking the lifeblood from your victims
Taking from them life as they know it.
You are a leeching parasite
Feeding off your unsuspecting host
Taking your nourishment
And leaving them weak and broke
You don’t even know who you really are
You mirror images that you see
You emulate others identities
Hiding behind masks so the real you can’t be seen
Something must be wrong with you
If you have to simulate
Being someone that you’re not
Instead of whom you are
I feel sorry for you
You will never experience
What it means to love
Or to be loved
Again, I am here to tell you
That I will no longer be
Your unsuspecting victim
You can no longer touch me!
