I feel like I’ve lost her. She is gone in her own little world. Not knowing what life is really like, for she is just a little girl. Barely ten years old and already corrupt, was it my choices or hers that made her life disrupt. I have fought so hard to keep her with me, hoping that someday she would see the reality. She really doesn’t care her look tells me so, maybe the time has come for her to go. She has hurt me so much these last couple of years, but the time has come I cannot stand the tears. The tears of all those that she has hurt, her brothers and aunt with our pain she flirts. It is quiet now for she is asleep and I really am enjoying the peace. For the nightmare that waits for us when she wakes, I cannot sleep my heart truly aches. I love her so much, she will never know for she doesn’t listen when I tell her so. A daily battle I’m willing to fight, but my heart longs for the peace of the night.
