Just saw a commercial for them. It has a picture of a pretty (of course) young blonde girl laying down and she's looking and then starts to giggle. and then they say, they want you to know that it's OK to look.

Then if that isn't enough..... If you don't find a match in the first six months, they will give you six months free!

What is wrong with this picture? lol (sarcastic lol)

Dating sites are perfect for psychopaths and Narcissists. The XNPH met wife number four through the personal ads before computers came up with this gimmick crap on the computer. Then he met ex fiance through the computer and then finally me, wife number five on a message board. I have never participated in dating sites. These places are dangerous. You don't know what you are dealing with.

If you join them and try them out and go to meet someone make sure that you meet them in a public place a few times before you start going off alone with them. Women have been killed over this before.

Always be careful. They make it sound like it's so perfect. They check compatability through questions and match you up. Well how can they ensure that the person answering the questions is not lying? Do they do background checks? They want you to believe because you supposedly like the same things that you are soulmates. I believed it at the time when I met up with the XNPH. I found out quickly, no, just because you talk and share things and all that doesn't mean you are not being targeted. Odds are higher that you are!

Be careful when taking this route people! PLEASE as your life may be depending on it!

Take care,
Windy

I can't stand those ads. Even worse are eharmony ads and other kinds of dating ads.

My ExN has advertised, in print, that he met his latest victim (aka fiance) on a well known dating website.

One of the big problems with these dating sites is anyone can join. Knowing what ExN has done to women in the past, including his own d, I shutter to think who else is lurking in these sites. And Cookie, I agree, it's impossible to get off the sites once you sign up!

They are there because simply, they are there. They trap a lot of people I guess because they have the money to advertize. You guys know I hope that these are pay sites... You have to pay to be there.

Just a few:
eharmony.com
match.com
adultfriendfinder.com which I believe (never looked at it but read others experience on there) is more sexually explicit type stuff.

They all make me sick. I remember meeting the XNPH online and when we started to see eachother and have sex and everything I was totally believing everything he said. Boy did I get a lesson that I was not ready for nor did I want.

Don't internet date, those sites are full of crap!

Those commercials of theirs piss me off. Ruined a wonderful Natalie Cole song. I wish that she'd make them take her music off!

I want to projectile vomit everytime I see a eharmony ad. I'm not sure why. I'm usually a peaceloving and caring person, but that's just too disqusting and sugary sweet for even me.

They kinda did ruin her song though. Yea, now I can't think of that song without picturing some idiots on eharmony dancing. Eww .. kill it with fire

Yup. That was a feel good about love song and they butchered it up with their drippings about finding your soulmate and how great life is gonna be when they set you up with the perfect person. And those actors I am sure they are? I just wanna smack them!
