Funny things our Pets/Children do

Hey guys !

Since My Team Fuzzy Girls are usually giving me a good laugh and smile. I thought this would be a cute topic to start.
Would love to hear people's cute pet and kid stories:

here's one of mine with Team Fuzzy: We had the little girl for about a year. She was a rescue kitty from being bashed and starved. Bag of bones when we got her.
Had her on meds most the time to destress her. She had been taken from her MammaCat far too early, only a couple weeks old.

After about a year, we got another rescue cat: Only this one was a breeder. Had many litters of cats and made their owners lots of $$$. When she got too old, they wanted to get rid of her. We took her rather than have them put her down. She's an old mamma cat, who had many babies taken from her.

So....the two of them meet. (They are not mother and child and are both fully grown) Much sniffing of bottoms to get to know eachother. One night, I hear a sucking noise. Yep....little girl (now 2 years old) is suckling on one of big mamma's nipples for all she's worth. Nuzzling in nice and tight. And Mamma cat is in BLISS. She's on her back, purring like a tractor !
This is their daily ritual now.
There is no milk, just the weird suckling and purring. Gross, but really cute when you see how blissed out they both are.

Just now, I'm laughing, 'cause Mamma cat has decided to get comfy on my round donut air cushion (don't ask), and she's only just got comfy and little girl has decided to come in for a snuggle.
Only, everytime she hops on the cushion, it bounces mamma cat right off!! The two of them are trying their darnedest to both get a position on the air cushion, but it's like a trampoline and they keep bouncing off it. But they are determined...wonder how long till they give up...nup, wait, THEY GOT IT!!!
Soooooo cute.

And in honor of my beautiful BIG BOY cat who died 10 years ago:

He would come for walks on the beach with me. He would ride in the car like a dog.
He would hide behind the thick brick letter box, waiting for someone to be walking their dogs on the side walk: then he would pounce out, scare the sh*t out of them and run off.
(I would watch and laugh from my window)

He became attached to a local primary school and would hang out playing with all the kids. Weird, beautiful boy.

But the funniest...one day 3 big dogs chased him (usually he would chase them), as he was running to greet me at my car park "welcome home Mummy".
He got a bit freaked by 3 dogs, and so he climbed up the closest tree he could find. It was only a young tree and he was BIG.
Anyway, he got to the top and the dogs were yapping at him. As the tree began to bend, ever so slowly, down and down, towards the dogs.
He looked at me with terror and I couldn't help laughing (just a little) because it looked so funny, my cat up a tree, bending it to the ground. Man, he was a big boy and heavy!!
I chased the dogs away and rescued my darling boy. It took a while, but he eventually forgave me for laughing. (you cat owners/servants, know what I mean, they hate being laughed at)

LOL
How cute Cookie304. Lucky you having cutiepie grandkids.

This is a sad/funny thing my niece said at 3 years old: We were watching footage of the WTC falling down after the planes hit. All in total shock, when little miss 3 pipes up with " They didn't put enough sticky tape on the buildings".
Bless her. Out of the mouths of babes....

Our cat did almost the same thing as your younger cat.
Only he didn't suck another cat, but ... our dog! He did it for almost two years, and our dog actually began to make milk. It was so cute to see them lying there. They were the best of buddies (both died a few years ago).
Animals weren't allowed upstairs because they would lay on the beds, but our dog really wanted to go up, so the cat would stand on the dog (kid you not!) and open the door. The cat even managed to open a LOCKED door once. :o

Oh, WOW. My little girl cat nursing on everything including my shirt when I'm holding her, our comforter, fuzzy blankets, etc. It's annoying at night because she wakes us up and there is always a wet spot on our blankets...it's pretty gross, actually. Now I'm wondering if I should get an old breeder cat to nurse her...I wonder if it would work. Hmmm....

My 2 yo DD has been telling me and DH to be quiet and shush lately, much to our dismay. It's gotten to the point where I have to take priveleges away every time she tells us to be quiet. Well, the other day I overheard her singing a made up song to the tune of "Jimmy crack corn, and I don't care" that went like this...
"Mama said no, and I said shush. Mama said no and I said be quiet. Mama said no and I said shhhhhh!" She didn't know I could hear her and I almost bust out laughing.
