I am letting go. I would advise others to let go too. Let the narc child if they are old enough make their own mistakes and do not think you can make them different alone. It takes professional counselling and therapy and even then you might not succeed. Just damage them and you more.

| I've only found this forum a couple of hours ago, and have only been reading for maybe 20 minutes, so if you've explained more than this post, I don't know. What age is this kid? When did he/she start having problems? Have you taken them to counseling? Are YOU in counseling? What kind of behaviour are they exhibiting? What kind of support system do they have and what kind of support system do you have?
