--the tragedy is that people are callous and insensitive going through life with a self-serving agenda, slashing with their knives and bitterness the hope and self-esteem of others. They understand only what they're taught and they love only what they understand. That's the tragedy of man- why we'll always remain ignorant is this:
We all rely on each other
We must learn to understand this.

(note: not everybody is like that, but my family and boyfriend were, so my perception about the world was skewed)
